Liberals, is it fair to fine Exxon-Mobil oil corporation $600,000 for 85 birds killed by crude oil spills?

Yes, that bird kill is only the portion that can be documented and it doesn't address the numerous other organisms negatively impacted (including humans)...

Failure to follow defined rules/protocol is usually met with fines, and $600,000 is a paltry sum for a Corporation that sees some $40 /year in profits...Liberals, is it fair to fine Exxon-Mobil oil corporation $600,000 for 85 birds killed by crude oil spills?
is the environment only of importance to liberals?Liberals, is it fair to fine Exxon-Mobil oil corporation $600,000 for 85 birds killed by crude oil spills?
Fine the b*st*rds, no amount of money is to much
Heh

Why do you assume the cost was for the bird death, and not the cost of actually cleaning up the spill.

You guys are a simple lot.
As an independent, I agree with it. Oil spills are too catastrophic for wildlife. 85 birds is only the beginning

Not to mention, $600,000 is nothing to Exxon
What an idiotic idea. But, what else can one expect from idiots.
How many wind farms have been fined for killing birds? I'm pretty sure the answer is zero. I wonder why that is.
No. $600,000 is way too little for the damage this company does to the environment every day through carelessness and outright flouting of the law.
since they bought their way out of a multi billion dollar settlement for the Exxon-Valdez spill, yes it is fair
Liberals dont seem to have souls.

They care more for insects, birds and little furry animals than human life and commerce.
I heard there are plans to give PRISON time over this. It's pending legislation. This is an OUTRAGE.
